Former Bodyguard for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso.
Having spent my youth learning various forms of combat arts including; Judo, Jeet Kune Do, Goju Ryu Karate, Kickboxing, and Kendo, I finally found a martial art that I could devote to for a lifetime.
In the mid 1980’s I began the study of Ninjutsu and after numerous years I had the great fortune to finally meet and train with An-shu Stephen Kinryu-Jien Hayes. Although I would have enjoyed the opportunity to spend many years training at the Kettering Ohio Dojo, I alas continued my martial journey in Canada.
Staying true to the Bujinkan Taijutsu teachings, I started a training group of my own in London, Ontario. The Forest City Bujinkan Taijutsu club, had numerous participants experience the teachings and comradery of this amazing style of combat management strategies.
I continue to share these teachings with the participants who now find Canadian Combatives, their place of learning and fellowship in conflict management strategies.
